Our stress responses are meant to protect us, not become us. We become our own worst enemy when thoughts hijack our internal wisdom, causing our biology to start sabotaging instead of befriending us. By intentionally calling in the air we breathe, we can begin to assess and uncover how our life experiences patterned our stress response profile- how our biography imprinted on our biology. Then like a Jedi mastering the Force, we can skillfully learn to manipulate our stress responses to facilitate our intentions.
